As part of our Geography work, learning about our local area, we were very kindly visited by a Year 1 parent who works as a nurse at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. She came in to talk to us all about her job including how she became a nurse, what the job includes and what she likes about her job. She also brought in some of the equipment that she uses at the hospital and we were able to have a go using it. She is very kindly letting us keep it in the classroom to play with. We learned lots about her job, asked lots of interesting questions and had lots of fun using the equipment!
