Show us your pets!

One of the most regularly suggested ideas in our suggestion boxes is a “bring your pets to school” day. When the School Council had our first meeting, Mrs Jones was very pleased to talk about this, and explained that although it would be lovely to meet everyone's pets, it wasn't very practical. However... we are going to allow children to take a photo or a short video (30-60 seconds long) of any pets in their lives, so that we can show them off in an assembly! There is no closing date on this, so if we get lots of people sharing videos, then we can make more than one clip show to show in assembly.

So, what do I need to do?

If you or a family member has a pet (or maybe lots of pets) take a photo or a very short video of them. (It should only be a maximum of 60 seconds long, preferably even shorter, so we can fit more pets in!) Then, when you're happy with your filming, send it, via email to Miss Rowlands — you might need an adult to help you with this. Her email address is

Please remember that if you are using somebody else's phone or device to record, that you ask their permission first.
