Free Access to Maths Resources
At St Christophers Academy, we use the White Rose Scheme of Work to deliver our Maths lessons. Each week, they are producing new home learning resources in line with what the children would be learning next at school. Please use the link provided below to access the videos and worksheets and use them to support learning. The White Rose are also hosting a 'Maths Party' each weekday. For more information about joining in, please see the thumbnail to the right. https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-1/
Another website which we use resources from regularly to support Maths teaching and learning is 'Classroom Secrets'. They too are currently offering free resources to support Maths teaching at home. To explore the range of fun, practical and interactive learning resources, please follow this link to access their website https://classroomsecrets.co.uk/. They have also created downloadable home learning packs with a range of different activities to complete. In addition to Maths resources, they are too offering grammar, reading, spelling and phonics materials so please check them out.
Topmarks is a website we use regularly for quick games and time fillers to practise Maths skills such as ordering, comparing and number bonds. Again, this website has activities and games for a range of subjects, not just Maths. Lots of these games work well on tablets also. To access them, please click the following link https://www.topmarks.co.uk/.
The Maths factor, a website created by Carol Vorderman, has also made their range of resources free to use during the school closure period. Here you will find video tutorials for your children to watch, a selection of activities and games to put their knowledge and skills to the test as well as challenges to complete and rewards to achieve.
