Admission to St Christophers Academy falls into one of two categories, but in all circumstances admission is subject to the statutory Admissions Code, which can be found by following the link below to the Department for Education website.
Normal Admissions Round
Due to expansion and being over-subscribed for the past 3 years we have increased our reception class spaces for September 2018.
Admission to a year group after the starting date for that academic year (ie. September)
Applications for admission in-year to St Christophers Academy are managed by the Central Bedfordshire School Admissions Team. If you wish to apply for a place at St Christophers Academy, after the academic year has started, and you live within the Central Bedfordshire authority boundary please contact the School Admissions Team on 0300 300 8037
If you live within the Luton authority boundary please contact the Luton Borough Council Admissions Team on 01582 548016.
If the year group applied for is full (over-subscribed), an application for admission may be unsuccessful and parents will be advised of this as soon as possible. In such circumstances parents will need to consider alternatives and are advised to seek clarification and/or advice from one or more of the following:
Central Bedfordshire School Admissions Team on 0300 300 8037

Children can start in the Nursery after their second birthday. Some parents may be able to access funding for their two year old. Details of the criteria for access to the funding will be supplied in the admission pack. All children are entitled to access 15 hours of nursery education funding for their child from the term after their third birthday. We also offer 30 hours of funding to children of parents who are eligible. Please ask for more details at the school office.
Additional hours are available for Nursery children by accessing the day care facility we provide. This can include a hot meal from the main school or alternatively children can bring in a packed lunch.
The choice of provision for your child is important and we welcome visits to the school by appointment.
If you are interested in joining our Nursery please complete the waiting list form below and return it to school. We will then be in touch when a place is available.
30 Hours Funding
We are pleased to offer 30 hours of childcare to eligible parents of children aged 3 years. Please speak to either the School Office or the Nursery Manager for more information.
Open day dates are yet to be finalised.
